1. Introduction
Welcome to Burek Masterclass. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our cooking class services and website. By booking a class or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Burek Masterclass is operated by Armel ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
2. Services
Burek Masterclass offers hands-on cooking experiences in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, including:
- Burek Masterclass (~3 hours) - Traditional burek making experience
- Full Bosnian Feast (~4-5 hours) - Complete traditional Bosnian meal preparation
Services may also be available in Sarajevo and other locations as announced.
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Reservations
Bookings can be made through our website, email, WhatsApp, or third-party platforms (GetYourGuide, Airbnb Experiences). All bookings are subject to availability.
3.2 Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged. We accept major credit cards and bank transfers. Prices are listed in Euros (EUR) and include all materials and ingredients.
3.3 Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of booking. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive this confirmation.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both guests and our business:
4.1 Guest Cancellations
- More than 48 hours before: Full refund
- 24-48 hours before: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours before: No refund
- No-show: No refund
4.2 Rescheduling
We are happy to reschedule your experience with at least 24 hours notice, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the class will be treated as cancellations.
4.3 Our Cancellations
In the rare event that we need to cancel a class (due to illness, weather, or unforeseen circumstances), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
5. Participant Requirements
5.1 Age Requirements
Participants must be at least 12 years old. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian who is also participating in the class.
5.2 Health and Safety
Please inform us of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions before your class. While we take all reasonable precautions, participating in cooking classes involves inherent risks including, but not limited to:
- Exposure to heat and open flames
- Use of sharp utensils
- Potential allergens in the kitchen environment
- Standing for extended periods
5.3 Dietary Requirements
We can accommodate vegetarian and most dietary requirements with advance notice (at least 48 hours). Please inform us at the time of booking.
6. Liability Waiver
By participating in our cooking classes, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You participate at your own risk
- You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of any minors in your care
- Burek Masterclass is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during the class, except in cases of gross negligence on our part
- You will follow all safety instructions provided by the instructor
We maintain appropriate liability insurance for our business operations. However, we recommend that all participants have their own travel and health insurance.
7. Photo and Video Consent
7.1 Our Photography
We may take photos and videos during classes for promotional purposes, including use on our website, social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook), and marketing materials.
7.2 Your Consent
By participating in our classes, you grant us permission to use photos and videos that may include your likeness for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform us before the class begins, and we will respect your wishes.
7.3 Your Content
You are welcome to take photos and videos during the class for personal use. If you share content on social media, we'd appreciate a tag @burekmasterclass!
8. Code of Conduct
We expect all participants to:
- Arrive on time (please arrive 5-10 minutes early)
- Treat the instructor, other participants, and the space with respect
- Follow safety instructions at all times
- Refrain from excessive alcohol consumption before or during the class
- Notify us if you are feeling unwell
We reserve the right to remove any participant who behaves inappropriately, without refund.
9. Intellectual Property
All recipes, techniques, and materials provided during our classes are for personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell our recipes or methods commercially without written permission.
10. Third-Party Platforms
If you book through third-party platforms (GetYourGuide, Airbnb Experiences, etc.), their terms and cancellation policies may also apply. Please review their terms in addition to ours.
11. Changes to Services
We reserve the right to modify our services, prices, and these Terms at any time. Changes will not affect bookings already confirmed at the time of the change.

13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
